Hello everyone!
Sorry for not updating this space (and also my instagram..)
unsure of what to post about while i'm waiting for more of my japan trip videos to be edited (ps: i'm really not a good videographer.. hahahaha the video quality sucks)
but anyway....
i got a new hobby!!
which is deco sweets!
my first batch of macaroons!
paddle pop inspired macaroon!
stars~
other than macaroons, i did some other food..
hahaha
super easy ice cream!
omelette
hehe
bread
hamburger!
and because i love doing clay..
i dragged my bf and sis along to play with me
hahaha
keith's creation.
was supposed to be teaching him to how to do macaroon
but he ended up stacking 3 layers..
so.. we named this strawberry shortcake!
but not too bad, for a first timer yea!
hehehe
pearly's~
pretty pretty!
PS: strawberry and chocolate are handmade too!
sooo... what did i do with all these sweets?
hahahaha
macaroon ring
necklace~!
and....
bottle caps
hahaha
------------------------------------------
i used clay from daiso~
and beads from my mum's collection!
hehehe
the only thing that is expensive ($12++)
is the varnish i bought.
----------------------------
It's really a fun hobby!!
but...
quite messy!!
hmmm.. but i'm thinking of making lolita dresses again!!
hopefully i can find a macaroon print cloth!
hehehe
and i'll be sure to deco myself with a lot of macaroons!
macaroons hat!!
hehehehehe
#secretlyexcited
anyone does decosweets too?
xoxo,
kelly
I really want to make deco sweets especially macaroons since they look so cute, do you use the varnish to coat over it, did give a nice shine and protect it?
ReplyDeletehello! i remember you asking about the clay! did you get it?
Deleteyep! i used the above varnish.
it's not that glossy cause i want to still keep the matt texture.
but it will be super glossy after a few coats!
there's many varnish! can buy from art friend!!
hehehe ganbatte!! tag me when you did it!
I haven't got it yet but I will try and make something if I remember, if it turns out good then I will post in my blog about it, did it take long for you to make all these deco sweets?
Deletenope nope! it's rather easy! even my bf can do it! hehehe
DeleteMy first batch of macaroon took me about an hour? but i did quite a few!
You just need to wait for it to dry and harden for a day then put a coat of varnish!
if you want i can do a tutorial!
the easiest is the ice cream.
Yeah, I think I will be able to do it, I guess practice makes perfect, anyways thanks for the help Kelly.
