I spent the second day in korea (New year eve) on a food trail!
First we went to Gwangjang Market
yes, a market full of food with different alleys specialising in different cuisines!
Fortunately, it's quite near to our hotel so we took a short walk there.
After a 10minutes walk, we reached GwangJang Market and we realised it's quite big!
They sell a lot of different items!
they looked angry....O.O
and we were like...
food food.. i'm hungry, are we in the right place?
We walked to the bustling PANCAKE alley!
they grind the beans and make the pancake from scratch!
but we decided to have our dumplings soup as our breakfast
Handmade by friendly ahjummas!
dumplings soup (yes, a lot of dumplings in a single day hahah)
After that we decided to have....
ahjummas slicing the beef in the store..
comes with an innocent looking spicy radish soup!
yes, our yuhkoe with fresh octopus!! O.O
surprisingly, the octopus is.......
you have to dip them into the seasame oil..
which MAKES THEM SQUIRM ALOT!!
nevertheless, it's still a nice dish!
that's only for breakfast...
it's soooo heavy!
going to continue with dinner in the next post!
